During his specialization training, he worked with experts in their fields by receiving theoretical and practical training from teachers and physicians. He has focused on oculoplastic surgery, cataracts, glaucosis, and eye transplantation. He performed operations on both infants and adults in tear duct obstructions. He also served eyelid outward and inward turning eyeball evisceration enoculation and eye prosthesis surgeries and treatments. In the eye hospital he established in Sakarya, he performed the first eye transplant, vitreoretinal surgery, and the first external dacryocystorhinostomy with the DutyDutemsBourget technique. His theoretical and practical studies on corneal keratoconus, excimer laser, and similar subjects have been published on national and international platforms.
His prospective study was the best presentation at the International Antalya National Ophthalmology Congress. He has been a European Cataract and Refractive Surgery Council member since 2001. He has conducted studies and workshops at international congresses in various parts of the world.
